Virus issues disrupt Concordia athletics

COVID-19 related issues have caused some disruptions in the Unified School District 333 athletic programs.
School district officials announced on Thursday that the Concordia High School wrestling program has been temporarily suspended.
The wrestling team did not compete in the North Central Kansas dual against Marysville scheduled for Thursday night and will not participate in the tournament in Hoisington scheduled for today, nor the Republic County tournament on Tuesday.
The district is attempting to find a makeup date for the dual against Marysville.
There are currently plans for practices to resume following winter break.
The Concordia High School boys' basketball team has had its game against Abilene, scheduled for tonight, postponed.
The junior varsity boys' basketball game against Abilene is set to be played at 4:30 p.m. at the Concordia Junior-Senior High School.
The Concordia girls' varsity basketball team will host Abilene at 6 p.m.
