Wrestling club has two place first in tourney

PHILLIPSBURG — Led by two individual champions, the Concordia Kids Wrestling Club had six wrestlers place in the top five in their respective divisions at the Phillipsburg-Stacy Runnion Open on Saturday.
Drake Blochlinger won five straight matches, four by pin, to place first in the 115-120-pound class in the 12-and-under division.
Tre Hamiel, 130-140 pounds, 12-and-under, posted a 4-0 record with four pins to capture first place.
Kale Schroeder, 100 pounds, 12-and-under, placed second with a 3-1 record.
Deekon Holbert went 4-1 to finish second in the 105-pound class in the 12-and-under division.
Rush LeDuc placed third in the 100-pound class in the 12-and-under division.
Logan White, 58 pounds, 8-and-under, placed fifth.
