Preschool age kids and their caregivers are invited to Neighbor to Neighbor for an entertaining morning at our April Reading With Friends story time. Join us on Friday, April 11, at 10 a.m. for the final Reading With Friends of this school year! Angela Champlin will be our guest reader to present “After the Fall,” by Dan Santat.
Everyone knows that when Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall, Humpty Dumpty had a great fall. But what happened after?
Caldecott Medalist Dan Santat's poignant tale follows Humpty Dumpty, an avid bird watcher whose favorite place to be is high up on the city wall―that is, until after his famous fall. Now terrified of heights, Humpty can longer do many of the things he loves most. Will he summon the courage to face his fear?
“After the Fall (How Humpty Dumpty Got Back Up Again)” is a masterful picture book that will remind readers of all ages that Life begins when you get back up.
Registration is required and will enable each family to take home their very own copy of the book, while supplies last.
Call 785-262-4215 to register. This will be the last Reading With Friends for the academic year. The next one will take place in September!
