Charlotte Lavina Fuller, born on April 18, 1940, in Wells, Kansas, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2025, in Olathe, Kansas, with her loving daughter and son-in-law by her side. She was the cherished daughter of Roy and Sybil Beals and grew up alongside her two brothers, Royce and George Beals.

Charlotte accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Saviour at an early age while attending the Wesleyan School in her hometown of Miltonvale, Kansas. She always knew that this was the most important decision she ever made in her life.

She married the love of her life, M. Rex Fuller, on November 26, 1958. Together, they had two children: Edwin Rex, born on January 1, 1960, and Lucinda Sybil, born on November 27, 1961.

Charlotte pursued higher education after having her children. She earned an engineering degree from Kansas State University. One of her favorite positions in this field was as an engineering technician at Black & Veatch in Kansas City, Missouri. However, God had even greater plans for her life.

Charlotte’s life was marked by her love of the Word of God, her devotion to her husband and family, and her commitment to Christian education for every child. She taught kindergarteners how to read and high schoolers how to do geometry and calculus. She worked faithfully alongside her husband as he served in various ministries, including at Accelerated Christian Education, the Christian Law Association, and as pastor of Faith Baptist Church in Concordia, Kansas, and Grace Baptist Church in Washington, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, who passed away on January 9, 2022. Together, they built a life filled with love  and family. Charlotte was also predeceased by her son, Edwin Rex, who passed away on May 1, 2015.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lucinda and Kevin Metsinger of Shawnee, Kansas; her daughter-in-law, Sandra Fuller of Bonner Springs, Kansas; and a legacy of grandchildren who brought her immense joy: Jeremiah and Melissa Metsinger; Shaleena and Michael Quinlan; Sharlotte and Nathan Swisher; Benjamin and Kelsey Metsinger; Spencer and Melissa Fuller; and Nathan and Ruth Metsinger. She also took great pleasure in her 14 great-grandchildren: Noah, Haddon, Silas, Weston, Cody, Paisley, Madeline, Reagan, Avonlea, Atlas, Remington, Hudson, Benelli, and Magnolia.

She loved moving back to her roots in Miltonvale, where she could be reunited with her extended family and lifelong friends. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Services were held January 9, 2025 in Miltonvale, Kansas at Wesleyan Church.

May her testimony of salvation bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.
