Cloud County Resource Center is helping with school supplies

Posted

It seems like summer just started and it is already time to begin discussing the beginning of another exciting school year.

The Cloud County Resource Center will be taking school bag applications for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year from June 30 - July 31.

All students, pre-K-12th grade, with permanent residence inside Cloud County can be registered to receive a brand-new school bag, packed with specific items requested by their grade level.

Students do not necessarily need to be enrolled in a Cloud County school. So, if residents have enrolled their students in surrounding districts, the Resource Center will still be able to provide support.

Additionally, homeschool families can also register for support supplies for their families or enroll their students for school bags, like all other students.

School bags are $3 a bag and a scholarship fund is available.  These funds are to help offset the cost of last-minute items.

The bulk of the funds for this project were generated from a grant through the Meridian Way Wind Farm, with funds provided by EDP Renewables.

To register, please call the Resource Center at (785)243-1065, come by 107 W. Seventh, or come see us at the Concordia Farmer’s Market, email us at ccrc@nckcn.com or contact us on Facebook.
