Concordia Police Report

Arrests

  • On Monday, January 20, at 6:59 p.m., officers responded to the 200 block of East Fifth Street for a report of a verbal dispute. Upon investigation, Katherine West, Concordia, was arrested for criminal threat-domestic. West was transported and booked into Cloud County Corrections.
  • On Friday, January 24, at 3:07 a.m., officers responded to the 900 block of Matthew Street for a report of a fight in progress. Upon investigation, Dustin Monson, Concordia, was arrested for domestic battery and criminal damage to property. Monson was transported and booked into Cloud County Corrections.
  • On Friday, January 24, at 5:07 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop at the 400 block of Spruce Street. After running the driver’s license through dispatch, Raeisha Owens, Concordia, was noted to have an active warrant out of Ottawa County. Officers also found marijuana inside of the vehicle. Owens was arrested and transported to Cloud County Corrections for possession of marijuana and her Ottawa County warrant—original charge: failure to appear.
  • On Saturday, January 25, at 3:30 p.m., officers took a report of domestic battery and criminal threat that had occurred prior in the day. Officers were able to locate the suspect at the 1300 block of Cedar, identified as Travis Gilbreath, Concordia. Gilbreath was arrested for domestic battery and criminal threat. Gilbreath was transported and booked into Cloud County Corrections.

Gunshots

  • On January 25, at 7:00 p.m. and 9:50 p.m., officers investigated a report of gunshots. Upon investigation, it was determined that the gunshots occurred outside of city limits.

Medical emergency

  • On Tuesday, January 21, at 1:28 p.m., officers responded to the 1300 block of Lincoln. Upon investigation, officers requested Concordia Fire Department due to a medical emergency. The individual was transported to North Central Kansas Medical Center.

Criminal threat

  • On Wednesday, January 22, at 6:11 p.m., officers responded to the 100 block of East College Drive for a report of criminal threat. Due to where the crime occurred, the case was forwarded to Republic County Sheriff’s Office.

Theft

  • On Monday, January 20, at 8:08 p.m., officers responded to the 200 block of West Sixth Street for a report of a theft. Charges for theft have been forwarded to the Cloud County Attorney.

Criminal trespass

  • On Sunday, January 26, at 7:57 a.m., officers responded to the 800 block of West Fourth Street for a report of criminal trespass. This incident is still under investigation.

Welfare check

  • On Monday, January 20, at 11:02 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 400 block of West Sixth Street for a welfare check.
  • On Tuesday, January 21, at 10:14 a.m., officers responded to the 400 block of West 15th Street for a welfare check.
  • On Thursday, January 23, at 8:12 p.m., officers responded to the 1300 block of Cedar Street for a welfare check.
  • On Saturday, January 25, at 3:51 a.m., officers responded to the 100 block of West College Drive for a welfare check.
