Concordia Police Report

Arrests/cited

  • On January 28, at 6:03 p.m., officers were at the 100 block of East College Drive when they noticed a male individual with a warrant. Dustin Crane was arrested and booked into Cloud County Corrections on his Cloud County warrant for theft.
  • On January 29, at 11:32 a.m., officers responded to the 1600 block of Lincoln Street for a report of a theft. Upon investigation, Riley Westgate, Concordia, was cited for theft.
  • On January 30, at 5:40 p.m., officers located a male named Brock Crump, Concordia. Officers knew that Crump had an active warrant out of Cloud County for failure to appear, original charge: possession of stimulants. Crump was arrested and booked into Cloud County Corrections on his Cloud County warrant.
  • On January 31, at 2:14 p.m., officers responded to the 2200 block of Campus Drive for a report of marijuana. After investigation, Tyler Elliot, Lenexa, was cited and released for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • On February 1, at 8:40 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop at the 100 block of East College Drive. During the traffic stop, officers noticed the driver, Marcellous Dyke, Concordia, was driving under the influence. Dyke was arrested and booked into Cloud County Corrections where he was charged with driving under the influence (DUI) and driving while suspended.

Gas leak

  • On January 31, at 11:45 a.m., officers assisted Concordia Fire Department in traffic control and evacuation of surrounding buildings, due to a gas leak. Once the gas company shut off the gas, the fire chief cleared the scene.

Smoke investigation

  • On January 31, at 6:16 p.m., officers, along with Concordia Fire Department, responded to the 2200 block of Campus Drive for a smoke investigation.

Argument

  • On February 1, at 2:49 p.m., officers responded to the 700 block of Doster Street for a report of an argument. After investigation, both parties denied the argument getting physical, no charges were filed.

Welfare check

  • On January 27, at 4:02 p.m., officers responded to the 1300 block of Spruce Street for a welfare check.
  • On January 28, at 6:32 p.m., officers responded to the 1100 block of East Seventh Street for a welfare check.

Trespass

  • On February 1, at 12:51 p.m., officers responded to the 400 block of West 14th Street for a report of trespassing.

Non-injury accidents

  • On January 27, at 3:36 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Cedar and East Seventh streets for a report of a non-injury accident.
  • On January 29, at 9:25 a.m., officers responded to the 1400 block of Lincoln Street for a report of a non-injury accident.
  • On January 30, at 12:04 p.m., officers responded to the 100 block of East College Drive for a report of a non-injury accident.
  • On January 31, at 9:36 a.m., officers responded to the 100 block of East College Drive for a report of a non-injury accident.

Criminal threat

  • On January 30, at 12:57 p.m., officers took a report of criminal threat at the police department.
  • On January 30, at 10:18 p.m., officers responded to the 500 block of East 17th Street for a report of criminal threat.

Criminal damage

  • On February 1, at 4:46 p.m., officers responded to the 700 block of Kansas for criminal damage to property. After investigation, no case number was needed.

Civil standby

  • On January 28, at 5:18 p.m., officers responded to the 500 block of West Third Street for a civil standby.
  • On January 31, at 3:55 p.m., officers responded to the 1400 block of Lincoln Street for a civil standby.
  • On February 1, at 2:10 p.m., officers responded to the 2200 block of Campus Drive for a civil standby.
  • On February 3, at 4:40 a.m., officers responded to the 1400 block of Lincoln Street for a civil standby.

Phone threat

  • On January 28, at 9:39 a.m., officers responded to the 900 block of West 11th Street for a report of threatening phone calls.

Online scam

  • On January 30, at 10:54 a.m., officers talked to a citizen at the police department in regard to an online scam.

Theft

  • On January 30, at 9:00 a.m., officers responded to the 700 block of East Eighth Street for a report of theft. Charges have been forwarded to the Cloud County Attorney.
