Concordia Police Report

Arrest

  • On June 1, at 2:52 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Lincoln Street for a report of a theft. Upon investigation, Richard Meczywor, Salina, was arrested and transported to Cloud County Corrections on one count of theft and one count of criminal trespass.

Cited

  • On May 28, at 6:43 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 200 block of East 14th Street for a report of an aggressive dog. The dog was returned to the owner, Lisa Brown. Brown was cited and released from the scene for animal at large and dangerous animal.

Theft

  • On June 1, at 6:40 p.m., officers were dispatched to the intersection of Washington and 11th streets for a report of theft. Upon investigation, the stolen item was located and returned to the victim. No case was needed.

Non-injury accidents

  • On May 26, at 4:02 p.m., officers responded to the 1000 block of Lincoln Street for a report of a non-injury accident.
  • On May 27, at 2:49 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 100 block of College Drive for a report of a non-injury accident.
  • On May 27, at 5:09 p.m., officers took a non-injury accident report at the police department.
  • On May 28, at 7:18 a.m., officers were dispatched to the intersection of College Drive and Lincoln Street for a report of a non-injury accident.
  • On May 30, at 10:06 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 400 block of East Seventh Street for a report of a non-injury accident.
  • On May 30, at 1:08 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of Lincoln Street for a report of a non-injury accident.

Noise complaint

  • On May 29, at 3:57 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 700 block of West Fourth Street for a noise complaint.
  • On May 31, at 11:09 p.m., officers responded to the 300 block of East First Street for a noise complaint.

Criminal trespass

  • On May 27, at 1:53 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 200 block of East 14th Street for a report of criminal trespass. Upon investigation, the suspect left the property.
  • On June 1, at 12:37 a.m., officers responded to the 500 block of West Sixth Street for a report of criminal trespass. When officers arrived, the individual was no longer on scene. Charges for criminal trespass have been forwarded to the Cloud County attorney.

Civil standby

  • On May 27, at 2:20 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Archer Street for a civil standby.
  • On May 31, at 8:04 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Spruce Street for a civil standby.

Property damage

  • On June 1, at 2:11 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 400 block of West 13th Street for a report of criminal damage to property. Upon investigation, charges for domestic battery and criminal damage to property will be forwarded to the Cloud County attorney.

Verbal argument

  • On May 31, at 6:52 p.m., officers responded to the 1600 block of Lincoln Street for a report of a verbal argument. Upon investigation, both parties were separated.

Disorderly conduct

  • On May 31, at 4:41 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of Lincoln Street for a report of disorderly conduct. Upon investigation, the individual was trespassed off of the property.

Extra security

  • On May 30, at 9:43 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 100 block of East Sixth Street for extra security.

Assist

  • On May 28, at 12:24 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Olive to assist another agency.

Welfare check

  • On May 30, at 12:11 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Sixth Street for a welfare check.
  • On May 31, at 12:34 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 300 block of West Ninth Street for a welfare check.
