On July 21, 2025, at 9:41 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1700 block of State Street. Upon further investigation, Michael Woods of Concordia was arrested for driving while suspended. Woods was issued a citation for driving while suspended and was released from the scene.
On July 27, at 5:06 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Olive Street. Upon further investigation, Kristin Smith of Concordia, Kansas, was arrested for DUI, Fleeing and Eluding, Transporting an open container, and speeding. Smith was transported to Cloud County Corrections.
Domestic Disturbance
On July 21, 2025, at 1:46 p.m., officers responded to the 200 block of West 6th Street for a report of a possible domestic disturbance. Officers contacted all parties involved and determined that it was a verbal argument only.
Phone Harassment
On July 21, 2025, at 9:16 p.m., officers contacted an individual at the police department who wanted to report harassment by telephone. All parties involved were warned not to contact each other.
On July 23, 2025, at 1:12 p.m., an individual came into the police department to report harassment by telephone. No report is needed currently.
On July 25, at 11:54 a.m., officers spoke with an individual at the police department regarding harassment by telephone. Investigation is ongoing.
Suspicious Vehicle
On July 22, 2025, at 1:16 p.m., officers responded to the 400 block of West 17th Street for a report of a suspicious vehicle. Officers checked the area and were unable to locate the vehicle in question.
Non-injury Accident
On July 22, 2025, at 5:58 p.m., the officer took a non-injury accident report in the 1300 block of Hill Street.
On July 23, 2025, at 1:35 a.m., officers responded to the 2100 block of Lincoln Street for a non-injury accident.
On July 25, 2025, at 3:47 p.m., officers responded to the 1500 block of East 6th Street for a report of a non-injury accident.
On July 27, at 1:17 p.m., officers responded to the 300 block of West 6th Street for a report of a non-injury accident.
On July 27, at 3:42 p.m., officers responded to 140 East College Drive for a report of a non-injury accident.
Welfare Check
On July 23, 2025, at 12:05 a.m., officers responded to the 200 block of West 8th Street to conduct a welfare check. Officers contacted the individual and determined everything was okay.
On July 25, at 9:40 p.m., officers conducted a welfare check in the 500 block of East 16th Street. Officers contacted the person in question and determined everything was okay.
On July 27, at 12:40 p.m., officers conducted a welfare check in the 200 block of West 9th Street. Officers were unable to locate anyone at the residence.

On July 23, 2025, at 10:10 a.m., officers responded to the 400 block of East 8th Street for a child custody dispute. At this time, no report is needed.
Lost or Stolen
On July 23, 2025, at 11:27 a.m., an individual came into the police department to report that his license plate wasn’t delivered to their residence.Report taken.
On July 24, 2025, at 12:37 p.m., an individual came into the police department to report their license plate was lost or stolen. Report taken.
On July 24, 2025, at 4:15 p.m., Officers spoke with a person and the police department regarding a lost or stolen license plate.

On July 23, at 9:49 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of 6th and Lincoln regarding a report of a suspicious person.Officers checked the area and were unable to locate anyone.
On July 25, at 1:19 p.m., officers responded to the 400 block of East 15th Street for a report of suspicious activity. Investigation is ongoing.
Possible Stolen Vehicle
On July 26, 2025, at 5:30 p.m., officers responded to the 600 block of East 17th Street for a report of a possible stolen vehicle. The reporting person told officers that a work truck had not been returned by an employee. Investigation is ongoing.
