Glenn “Ed” Black passed away of natural causes on February 16, 2025, in rural Cambodia. He was in Cambodia as a volunteer to help build a school with Habitat for Humanity.
Ed was born July 14, 1952, in Concordia, KS, to Glenn & Pauline Black. He graduated from Concordia High School.
He is survived by sister, Gloria Newingham, Manhattan, KS; brother, Chris Black, Concordia, KS; niece, Michelle Barroth and nephew, Mark Newingham, both of the Kansas City area.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Pauline Black, Concordia.
A funeral was held in Cambodia. His wishes were to be cremated and his cremains scattered among the beautiful mountains near his home in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
