The National Orphan Train Complex hosted an Orphan Train statue unveiling, on April 5, 2025, right in front of the Blade-Empire Building. The statue is of Orphan Train Rider Harry “Shorty” Morris. Standing with the statue at the unveiling is, from left to right, Chuck Morris, Shorty’s grandson, and Roger Morris, Shorty’s last living child.

On April 5, 2025, the National Orphan Train Complex hosted the unveiling of a new Orphan Train statue of Harry “Shorty” Morris. Roger Morris, last living son of Shorty, is removing the covering from the name plaque.
