Also box supper at Hayse district 92, Cornella Regnier teacher… MARRIAGES: Miss Helen E. Walker to Mr. George C. Stites… BIRTHS: Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Doubek have a boy. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Reed have a boy…  The attendance at the Oakhill for Sunday School at the Oakhill Church was 187. Dr Need has the foundation for his new office building completed in Oak Hill…

75 YEARS—OCTOBER 26, 1950

Pirates football, Glasco 14 Pirates 40, coach Hoover played all of the boys out for the game… BIRTHDAYS: Mrs. Maggie Fisher 80th, Ott Elliott, Frances Sterrett 5th and Olive Dallen… ANNIVERIES:  Mr. and Mrs. Jack Haist 22nd … FFA Officers are President: Robert Wilkens, Vice President: John Lee Tanzer, Secretary: Bob McNeill, Treasurer: Dennis Lyne: Reporter: Dean Catlin, Sentinel: Paul Shannon. Billy Empson also attended and gave the FFA. creed to the whole assembly. Advisor is Mr. Crandall… October 31 at 8:00, Storm Center, Dist. 40. Lunch of pie and sandwiches. Oct. 28, with Sam Molen at the mic… Mr. and Mrs. Lee Fuller and Gale have moved recently to their farm, formerly the Hanson farm… Mr. and Mrs. Jim Colton are now living on the Holloway farm. 50 YEARS—OCTOBER 23, 1975

Pirates football team won over Glasco, in their second home game, 20 to 6. The air was cold and crisp and the football was fantastic…  The Junior High School girls won over Clyde in 2 straight sets, 15 to 12 and 15 to 0, this giving the girls the First Place Trophy… The Miltonvale Lions Club will make Its annual candy day drive at the football game. There are also 5 businesses that have canisters for donations… Janice Cyr employee of the Cloud County ASCS Office was honored for 21 years of service…  Miltonvale Grade School’s 6th grade class of 24 has an unusual distinction. They can all say, “Look Mom, No cavities!” They are the only class in Cloud County, according to Health Nurse Mrs. Verna Peret that has no cavities…  Rainfall for the week .000…  For delivery in November Vermeer 605D balers for $3,745.00.
