On Wednesday, Aug. 6, the Concordia Police Department (CPD) arrested Clyde resident Jacob Rupe in the 100 block of Sixth Street on a Cloud County warrant.
According to CPD Chief Brent Gering, the arrest warrant was for conspiracy to commit burglary in connection with the Aug. 2 Taco Grande break-in.
CPD officers booked Rupe into the Cloud County Jail on this arrest charge on a no-bond warrant, meaning that Rupe must appear before a judge before setting a bond.
Gering said in a press release that the department “would like to extend its sincere thanks to the public and local businesses for their cooperation and assistance in the ongoing investigation.”
All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
