San LoLeyte VFW 7515 Auxiliary met August 20, 6:30 p.m., at the Clyde Community Hall, opening per ritual. All officers were present. Secretary's July 2025 Minutes were approved as read.
Communications:
- General Orders #2—information on Department rules.
- Department President's August Message—information on the Dept Commander's and Dept Auxiliary President's joint project PTSD.
Treasurer's July 2025 Report filed subject to audit. Two bills were presented.
Committee Reports:
- Chaplain - sent one get-well and two sympathy cards.
- Americanism - information reported on Purple Heart Day, Aug. 7, and Women's Equality Day, Aug. 26; A moment of Silence was held for POWs, MIAs and military members.
- Poppy and National Home - need to order poppies, the poppies will be given out during the Watermelon Festival; Guitars for Veterans is a Department program.
- Membership - 144 members, one converted to life membership.
Old Business:
The Golf Cart Seek and Find Contest is on Friday, Aug 29, at 5:30 p.m. Registration is at 5 p.m. at VFW; prizes and workers discussed.
New Business:
Discussion about flags.
