STREET SUPERINTENDENT

The City of Glasco
Is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Street Superintendent. This is a supervisory position requiring the ability to perform a variety of duties, including heavy equipment operation, water and wastewater treatment and maintenance, scheduling workload, following a budget, and various labor functions requiring lifting of up to 100 pounds. Previous experience in operation of backhoe, air brakes, large trucks and other equipment is preferred. A CDL is required, or the ability to obtain one within a reasonable time. Water and wastewater certification is required or the ability to obtain the same within a reasonable time. Past experience in street maintenance and repair water and wastewater treatment, operation of swimming pool, snow removal, and overall building and grounds maintenance is preferred. Successful applicant must reside in the city limits of Glasco or establish residency within a reasonable length of time. Salary dependent upon experience, excellent benefits.
