Seventh grade boys fall

Abilene defeated the Concordia seventh grade boys' basketball team 59-21 in the Concordia High School gymnasium on Thursday. Concordia trailed 22-7 at the end of the first quarter. Abilene pumped in 15 points in the second period, to seven for the Panthers, to make it a 37-14 game at halftime. Concordia was outscored 10-4 in the third quarter. Abilene added 12 points in the final period. The Panthers scored three. Karson Lister and Peyton Retter scored eight points each for the Panthers. The Concordia B-team was beaten 38-16 by Abilene. Abilene was ahead just 15-10 at halftime. Concordia was limited to six points in the second half, and Abilene scored 23. Lister scored six points for the Panthers.
