Williamson/Swenson to wed

Jim and Pam Williamson of Paola announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa, to Ryan Swenson, son of Richard and Denise Swenson, Concordia.
The prospective bride graduated from Paola High School in 2002, and earned a Bachelor's degree in Flute Performance and Pedagogy from Southwestern College, Winfield, KS, in 2006, and a Master's degree from Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, OK, in 2008. She earned a second Master's in Arts Administration from Boston University, Boston, MA, in 2013. She is currently employed by K-State Research and Extension: River Valley Extension District, Concordia, KS.
The future groom graduated from Concordia Junior Senior High School in 1999, and earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from K-State University, Manhattan, KS, in 2004. He is the owner of Duis Meat Processing in Concordia, KS, and co-owner of Smoky River Meats in Salina, KS.
The couple are members of the Zion Lutheran Church Outreach in Concordia, and the wedding will be held at the FUMC in Concordia in the Fall of 2019.
