Zimmerman to speak at Teens for Christ rally

Former Kansas State University football standout Ty Zimmerman will be the featured speaker at the North Central Kansas Teens for Christ rally, scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday at the Brown Grand Theatre.
Zimmerman grew up in Junction City and played four sports in high school. He received a scholarship to play football at Kansas State.
Following college, Zimmerman played briefly in the National Football League with the New Orleans Saints.
Zimmerman and his wife then moved back to Junction City where he began teaching and coaching at Junction City High School.
“As I've grown in my relationship with Jesus, I have felt a stronger pull towards full-time ministry. As a result, God opened a door to serve at FCA in Manhattan and Junction City, two communities my wife and I have grown up in and are excited to give back to. We are looking forward to this opportunity to serve Christ and make the eternal impact on coaches and athletes,” Zimmerman said.
Special musical guest United North Band will be leading the worship during the rally.
Teens for Christ programs are always free to the public.  Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and a free will offering to help cover the cost of the evening would be appreciated.
For more information about the rally, contact the Teens for Christ office at 785-243-1154.
North Central Kansas Teens for Christ is a local, independent, non-denominational youth ministry in the 13 county area of north central Kansas and south central Nebraska.
