“Super Heroes” will be the theme for Kid’s College

“Super Heroes” will be the theme for Cloud County Community College's 10th annual Kid's College scheduled for July 15-17 on the Concordia campus.
Classes will run from 1-4 p.m. each day.
Kid's College will conclude with a family movie night at The Broadway Plaza on July 17 at 6:30 p.m.
The early enrollment deadline for Kid's College, which is open to students entering kindergarten through sixth grade in August, is June 21.
The registration fee includes a Kid's College t-shirt and enrollment and three classes.
Classes are limited to 20 students each, so early enrollment is suggested. A t-shirt cannot be guaranteed without early enrollment.
Classes are based on age group to better facilitate learning for the students. Class groups are kindergarten, first and second grades, third and fourth grades and fifth and sixth grades.
Some of the classes offered this year include Real Heroes, where members of the Concordia Police Department, Fire Department and EMS and Cloud County Sheriff''s Department will show students what real life superheroes do on a daily basis; Comic Book Adventures where students will make their own comic books; and Science World featuring projects and science experiments.
A full list of classes and their descriptions can be found on the college's website at www.cloud.edu.
For more information about registering for Kid's College or volunteering to assist during the week, contact Carleen Nordell at 1-800-729-5101, ext. 344.
Kid's College registration brochures were delivered to area schools in May and can also be downloaded on the college website.
