applications for Get in the Cloud grants are due on August 2

Meeting with the Cloud County board of commissioners during its regular meeting on Monday, Cloud County Health Department director Brandi Bray reported that only about 36 percent of the county residents were fully vaccinated for COVID-19 as of July 5.
According to Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) data, 3,447 residents have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Based on the 2018 county population of 8,729 that is 39.49 percent.
Bray reported that 3,186 of the county residents, or 36.49 percent, are fully vaccinated.
According to the KDHE, about 39 percent of Kansas residents are fully vaccinated.
There were two COVID-19 related deaths reported in Cloud County in June. That increases the death toll to 28.
The Health Department will be offering vaccination clinics in Glasco, Clyde and Miltonvale next week.
All vaccinations will be available, including the COVID-19 vaccine.
There will be a clinic at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Glasco Grade School.
Walk-ins are welcome or call ahead to check immunization status.
COVID-19 vaccines will be available for anyone age 12 and older.
Those attending are asked to have their insurance cards.
There will be a vaccination clinic on July 14 from 9-11 a.m. at the Clyde City Hall and from 1-3 p.m. at the Miltonvale EMS building.
