Arrest made following reported threat at CCCC

A report of criminal trespassing and criminal threat at Cloud County Community College resulted in the arrest of one suspect on Tuesday.
Concordia Police Department officers responded to the call from the college at 9:06 a.m.
Further investigation led to the arrest of Timothy Nyinguan, Concordia, on charges of aggravated criminal threat, two counts of criminal threat, criminal damage to property, burglary and theft. He was transported to Cloud County Corrections.
On the Cloud County Community College athletic website, Nyinguan was listed as a sophomore from Lexington, Neb., on the track and field team during the 2021-2022 season.
Concordia Police Chief Ric Fredrickson reported on Wednesday that the suspect was not armed when taken into custody.
Fredrickson reported that there were alleged threats made against college students and staff members.
The college was locked prior to the arrest being made.
