"Caring for Cloud" to aid businesses, residents in need

The Concordia Chamber of Commerce, Cloud County Tourism and CloudCorp are partnering on an effort to reinvest in Cloud County and aid businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic through “Caring For Cloud County.”
The www.caringforcloudcounty.com website will be launched this week.
Businesses participating in the program will be listed on the website.
Area residents can go to the website and purchase gift cards to the participating businesses in $25 increments.
The gift cards will be processed by CloudCorp and Chamber Bucks will be processed by the Chamber of Commerce, and sent to those who purchased them online.
Businesses that have gift cards purchased will be sent a check at the end of each week with total dollars purchased.
The Community Foundation for Cloud County will match the dollar amount of the gift cards purchased with a donation to either the Cloud County Food Bank or Helping Hands Food Pantry to support community members in need of food, household cleaning supplies, personal sanitary supplies, diapers, wipes, baby formula and more.
During this difficult time the Food Bank and the Food Pantry have seen an increase in need for aid.
Businesses interested in participating in “Caring for Cloud County” can contact Annie Bergmann at 243-4290 or at infor@concordiakansaschamber.com.
