CCCC announces positive COVID-19 test on campus

Cloud County Community College has confirmed a positive COVID-19 test on campus.
"CCCC is taking all the necessary precautions to keep the campus and community safe due to the identification of a positive COVID case on our campus," said Amber Knoettgen, CCCC's interim president.
Knoettgen also confirmed that there are additional test results pending, and that the college is working closely with the Cloud County Health Department (CCHD).
"We require masks and social distancing on campus," Knoettgen said. "We also have two buildings dedicated as quarantine and isolation facilities as part of our safety protocol."
The CCHD reported Wednesday morning that approximately 80 test results are pending, and that not all of those tests are from testing done at the college.
