Central National Bank donates $10,000 to CCCC tech building

Central National Bank has donated $10,000 to Cloud County Community College for the construction of the Technical Education and Innovation Center.
Cloud County Community College is raising funds to construct a 33,725-square-foot facility that will house the renewable energy, nursing, allied health and agriculture and industrial technology programs.
“One of our favorite ways to support the community is to give back to our local schools,” Janet Lowell, senior vice president of retail for Central National Bank, said. “We're pleased to help provide the funding to improve the facilities used by college students at CCCC. As an alumnus of CCCC, I'm very pleased that our bank's values support innovation and adaptability and offer this opportunity to support our communities and the Kansas economy through education and investing in the future of our students.”
The Technical Education and Innovation Center would positively impact the number of workers in Kansas by providing the needed education and skills to support occupational groups expected to grow in employment from 2019-2029.
“CCCC's Technical and Innovation Center is in direct response to the educational and workforce needs of Kansas,” CCCC president Amber Knoettgen said. “This project will provide state-of-the-art access to quality education in high-wage, high-demand careers.”
