CES receives grants from Aurora Cooperative

Concordia Elementary School has received two grants, totaling $3,500, from the Aurora Cooperative Matching Grant Program.
The grants are available for different entities, including those involved in eduction, in the communities that are served by the Aurora Cooperative.
Concordia Elementary School was presented a matching literacy grant from Land O'Lakes and the Aurora Cooperative for $2,000 and a $1,500 grant from the Aurora Cooperative to enhance the Panther Pride Literacy Family Night.
Grant funds will be used by Concordia Elementary School to purchase new Decodable Readers for students in grades K-4 and new literacy and math games to give parents during Family Night.
Presenting the grant funds were Heath Rine, Aurora Cooperative, Ames location, manager; Edmund Rudolph, agronomy salesman, Ames location; and Kim Reynolds, Aurora Cooperative member service manager.
