CFCC grants awarded

The Community Foundation for Cloud County ratified and awarded grants totaling $75,859 during its June committee meeting.
Grants awarded include:
Impact Fund for Cloud County - $10,000 for the Cloud County Health Center for the first of five pledges for the new hospital campaign and $250 for the city of Concordia to pay for insurance for the American Legion replacement baseball team.
Seize the Moment Fund - $250 for the city of Concordia to pay for insurance for the American Legion replacement baseball team; a COVID-19 grant of $366.81 to Cloud County for administrative costs for the “Caring for Cloud County” campaign by CloudCorp, the Concordia Area Chamber of Commerce, and Cloud County Convention and Tourism.
Blosser Foundation Donor Advised Fund - $10,000 to the Cloud County Health Center for five pledges for the new hospital campaign; $1,000 to the city of Concordia for the fifth installment on the first Blosser Aviation Scholarship; $1,000 to the city of Concordia for the fourth installment on the second Blosser Aviation Scholarship.
Robert & Lorene Steimel Donor Advised Fund - $3,000 for Cloud County Health Center for the second of five pledges for the new hospital campaign.
Gelvin-Ingersoll Medical Education Fund, - $2,000 grant to Cloud County Health Center for the first of five pledges for the new hospital campaign.
Dane G. Hansen Community Grant Fund - $3,400 to Neighborhood Initiative, Inc. for books for the Reading with Friends program; a COVID-19 grant of $8,500 to Cloud County for the Cloud County 4-H, FFA and Open Class ribbons and judges at the Cloud County Fair; a COVID-19 grant of $5,000 to the Brown Grand Theatre to help cover operating costs due to the loss of income from being closed.
Economic Development Fund – A COVID-19 grant of $598 to Cloud County for administrative costs of the “Caring for Cloud County” campaign by CloudCorp, the Concordia Area Chamber of Commerce and Cloud County Convention and Tourism.
Catholic Youth Education Fund - $9,103 for the Notre Dame Scholarship Trust for 2020 scholarships.
Broadway Plaza Operating Fund - $260 to transfer the “Available to S:pend amount in the endowed portion of the organization portion.
Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Cloud County Fund - $2,900 to Kansas Big Brothers/Big Sisters Serving Cloud County for operations.
Cloud County Foundation for Health Care Fund - $4,439 of the “Available to Spend” to the Cloud County Health Center for the new hospital campaign.
Concordia Lutheran Church Fund - $13,719 to the Concordia Lutheran Church for withdrawal of the “Available to Spend” for operations.
