Chamber moves to new location

The Concordia Chamber of Commerce announces that it is expanding its space at a new location, 207 West Sixth St.
The Chamber's move is official as of today.
“We are proud and excited for this new opportunity. By moving back to main street we will be more visible and accessible to the public. This is a positive move toward meeting our goals of serving our business community members,” Chamber executive director Annie Bergmann said.
Like many businesses, the Chamber has had to be flexible in 2020. Many of the initial plans have had to be modified.
However, the Chamber director and board believe that good things have come out of these trying times.
They have been connecting customers to the local businesses; connecting businesses to resources at the local, state and federal levels through emails and social media; partnering with Cloud County Tourism and CloudCorp to support the business community with the Caring for Cloud County campaign, during which over $48,500 was dedicated to spending in the local businesses; partnering with a second Caring for Cloud County campaign with Cloud County Tourism, the Miltonvale and Clyde Chambers of Commerce, Glasco Community Foundation and the cities of Jamestown and Aurora; and planning new ways to support our member businesses with special thanks to the volunteers from the communities.
“As we get settled into our new space, we want to thank the many business and community members who have helped with our move. We invite everyone in the community to stop in over the next few weeks to say 'hi' and check us out,” Bergmann said.
Starting in mid-September, the Chamber will resume the weekly Chamber Coffees on Tuesdays at 8:15 a.m.
Chamber board members include Jason Martin, chair; Shari Haug, chair elect; Jefferson Molter, secretary; LeRoy Dickinson, treasurer; Meredith Rosenbaum, Lynette Fredrickson, Mark Headrick, Darrell Gallegos and Jim Lowell.
