CHS graduation Sunday

Diplomas will be presented to 85 members of the Concordia High School Class of 2022 during commencement exercises scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Concordia Junior-Senior High School gymnasium.
Baccalaureate is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the Concordia High School auditorium.
Riley McMillan is the valedictorian of the Class of 2022. Tyler Hobrock is the salutatorian.
McMillan plans to attend Wichita State University and major in forensic science with a minor in Homeland Security. She participated in National Honor Society, Scholars Bowl, Friends of Rachel, Future Business Leaders of America, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Foreign Language Club, Science Club, tennis and trap shooting.
Hobrock plans to attend Kansas State University and major in mechanical engineering. He participated in National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America, football, basketball and track.
Graduating seniors with a cumulative grade point average of 4.0 include:
McMillan, Hobrock, Tucker Arnold, Juana Ayala, Malachi Carder, Cav Carlgren, Aidan Poore, Madeline Schlyer, Phillip Shirkey, Isaiah Steffen and Joshua Wood.
The high school Concert Band will play “Home on the Range” and “Acclamations” followed by “Pomp and Circumstance.”
Class of 2022 president McKenzie Widen will welcome the class.
The high school choir will perform the national anthem followed by greetings from high school principal Kale Katt and Student Council president Aidan Poore.
The Concert Band, with seniors, will perform “The Great Locomotive Chase.”
Following the salutatorian address by Hobrock and the valedictorian address by McMillan, the high school Chamber Choir will perform “Gone, Gone, Gone.”
Diplomas will then be presented and Katt will present the Class of 2022.
Katt will offer closing remarks followed by the recessional to “School's Out” by Alice Cooper.
