CHS Students At Music Festival

MANHATTAN — Concordia High School students competed in the Regional Solo and Ensemble Festival at Manhattan High School last Saturday.
Solo performances and ensemble performances by Concordia students that received a “Superior” rating and that will be moving on to the 2023 State Solo and Small Ensemble Music Festival scheduled for April 29 at Andover Central High School include:
Belle Chavey, vocal and clarinet; Lacie Duvall, vocal; Leathan Stevenson, vocal; Bricen Benyshek, baritone; clarinet 10; brass 5, percussion 7, chamber choir singers; chamber treble ensemble; and chamber quartet.
Solos and ensembles receiving an “Excellent” rating include;
Mahaylla Ratliff, flute; Eli Bailey, tenor sax; Daegen DeGraff, alto sax; Lennon Ninemire, vocal; Moyra Barnes, trombone; Jacob Barr, baritone; Sara Lorenz, flute; low brass trio; and flute trio.
