Concordia High School has Homecoming activities planned

Concordia High School will celebrate Homecoming with several activities throughout the week.
The Homecoming queen and king will be crowned prior to the football game (approximately 6:30 p.m.) against Marysville Friday night at Harold M. Clark Stadium.
Queen candidates are Hattie Blackwood, Zoe Britt, Carlie Carlgren, Gracey Drury and Callie Parker.
King candidates are Keegun Beims, Payton Breese, Mason Eickmann, Caleb Hanson and Lewis VanMeter.
The Homecoming theme days include: Monday – Monocromatic Monday; Tuesday – Anything But a Backpack; Wednesday – Denim Day; Thursday – Country vs. Country Club; Friday – Panther Spirit Day.
There will be a pep rally at 9 p.m. Thursday at Broadway Plaza. The public is invited to attend.
Students in Unified School District 333 will be released from school at 1:30 p.m. Friday.
The Homecoming parade is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Friday.
The queen and king candidates, Concordia High School band, class trailers, dancers, cheerleaders, fall sports teams and high school clubs and organizations will travel from west to east down Sixth Street to the Broadway Plaza.
A Homecoming assembly will follow the parade at the Broadway Plaza. The queen and king candidates will be introduced and candidate videos produced by Cat Scratch Productions will be shown.
The public is invited to attend. Everyone is encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating.
In the case of inclement weather, the assembly will take place in the high school auditorium.
The Homecoming dance is scheduled for 10 p.m.-12 a.m. in the varsity gymnasium. Wing Productions will provide the music.
Students must register outside guests by Wednesday for the dance using the permission form in the high school office. Outside guests must show photo identification when entering.
