Concordia man arrested after high-speed chase

A Concordia man was arrested following a high-speed chase that ended in Aurora Tuesday night.
Cloud County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested Anthony Smith and charged him with felony fleeing and attempting to elude, driving under the influence and reckless driving. He was transported to the Cloud County Law Enforcement Center.
According to a release from the Sheriff's Office, a deputy attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 1600 section of Noble Road at about 6:10 p.m. The driver of the vehicle led deputies on a pursuit with speeds reaching over 90 miles per hour.
Deputies deployed spike strips at North 210 Road and Key Road. The driver of the vehicle came to a  stop in the 200 block of Main Street in Aurora.
