County board approves agreement with CloudCorp 

A professional services agreement with CloudCorp for the fiscal year 2023 was approved by the Cloud County board of commissioners during its regular meeting on Monday.
The board voted to approve the request from CloudCorp in the amount of $58,000.
Under the agreement, CloudCorp will provide programs and services to businesses and industries expanding or locating in Cloud County.
Of the funds made available by the county, $3,000 is earmarked for small business development services.
Economic development services to be provided by CloudCorp include:
• Local demographic and infrastructure information
• Feasibility studies and business information surveys
• Facilitation of accounting, consulting, engineering & legal services
• General project development and facilitation with local units of government
• General project development and facilitation with local businesses, community leadership and citizens
• Information concerning local business retention and recruitment programs
• Facilitation of local, federal and state economic development incentive programs
• Facilitation of Cloud County Opportunity Zone projects
• Facilitation of grant application processes
• Administration and facilitation of the Get in the Cloud grant funds
• Facilitation of Revolving Loan Fund applications
• Publicly present and support economic development projects
