Czapanskiy to seek re-election

Bill Czapanskiy, a Republican from Clyde, has filed to run for a third term as the First District representative on the Cloud County board of commissioners.
Czapanskiy was first elected to the board of commissioners in 2014, defeating incumbent Johnita Crawford. Running unopposed, he was re-elected to a second four-year term in 2018.
The First District seat on the commission is the only one up for election this year.
Mark Matthew, a Republican from Concordia, previously filed to run for the First District seat.
There will be a primary election for the Republican nomination on August 2.
The deadline for filing for office was at noon today.
