The advisory board of the Leva and Frank Duclos Foundation approved grants totaling $39,595.00 during its regular meeting.
The following grants were approved:
Republic County Resource Council, Belleville - C.A.R.E. Committee (Community Assistance) for Crisis/Hardship Funds, $7,000.00.
Cloud County Community Resources Council, Concordia - Cloud County Food Bank, purchase food, $4,000.00; Crisis Fund, utility and medical bills and other financial crisis assistance, $3,000.00,
United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, Washington, D.C. - Sisters of St. Joseph of Concordia,- Helping Hands Funding - $3,000.00.
USD #333 Concordia, Kan. - Concordia Elementary School, third grade classroom flexible seating, $225.00; Concordia Elementary School, second and third grade special education classroom alternative seating, $680.00; Concordia Elementary School, Multi-Tier System of Support Program (MTSS) – materials, $200.00; Concordia Middle School and Concordia Junior-High School, purchase Makerbot Sketch Classroom 3D printer, $1,000.00; “STOP the Bleed Kits" for high risk areas in the school district, $770.00; Life Skills/Resource Room, purchase supplies for the functional curriculum, $720.00; Concordia After School Program (CAP), field trip and supplies funding, $500.00. Total: $4,095.00.

City of Belleville - Belleville Public Library - Summer library program funding, $1,000.00; Main Street Sidewalk Project,  installation of ADA ramps, $1,000.00.
City of Concordia - Christmas Lighting Committee, snowflake light refurbishing - $2,000.00.
City of Clyde - Randolph-Decker Public Library, children's LEGO play table, chairs and starter sets,$200.00; Clyde Swimming Pool, purchase a refrigerator - $1,000.00.
City of Jamestown - Jamestown City Library, purchase young adult fiction books, adult non-fiction books and Legos, $500.00.
Republic County - Republic County EMS - Handtevy System startup fees and length-based tapes, $1,000.00.
National Orphan Train Complex Inc., Concordia - HVAC unit replacement, $2,500.00.
Brown Grand Theatre, Concordia - Security lighting - $1,000.00.
Blair Center for the Arts Foundation, Belleville - Summer Movie Program funding, $1,000.00.
Glasco Community Foundation, - Support with operating the Corner Store building, $1,800.00.
Washington County Historical Society, Washington - Brantford Community Center Committee, Replace Roof, $500.00.
The Concordia Community Senior Citizens Recreation Center, Inc., Concordia - ADA equipment upgrades, $2,000.00.
