Election Results

Current commissioner Ashley Hutchinson and former commissioners Christy Hasch were elected to the Concordia city commission in the general election on Tuesday.
Hutchinson, who is currently serving a first term on the commission after being elected in 2020, was the leading vote getter among the five candidates seeking two positions, with 471 votes.
Hasch, who had previously served on the commission from 2013-2022, received 297 votes. She finished 17 votes ahead of Dannie Kearn, who picked up 280 votes.
Incumbent Ragena Belden, who was seeking a second term on the board, received 242 votes. Gary Jeardoe Jr. received 112 votes.
The election results are unofficial until the Cloud County board of commissioners canvass them on November 20.
Cloud County had a 25.71 voter turnout for the election with 1,514 ballots cast.
Two candidates were elected to the Cloud County Community College (CCCC) board of trustees, and the college will have to appoint the third seat that was up for election.
Kevin Pounds was the leading vote getter in the CCCC board race, with 1,085 votes.
Richard Hubert was elected to a second term on the board with 834 votes.
Jim Koch, who was serving a first term on the board and filed for re-election before passing away in July, received 549 votes.
Koch's name appeared on the ballot.
Kevin Muff ran for the CCCC board as a write-in candidates and received 337 votes.
Because Koch was the third leading vote getter, the college will appoint someone to fill the position left void by his passing.
One incumbent and three new members were elected to the Unified School District 333 board of education.
Jenny Parker, running opposed, received 951 votes in getting re-elected to Position 2, Sub-District 2 seat on the USD 333 board.
Parker was appointed to the board in April to fill the seat left vacant with the resignation of Mark Nordell.
Michael Cleveland won a three person race for the District 3, Position 3 seat on the school board.
Cleveland received 630 votes.
Jerlynn Johnston received 332 votes and Tony Miller received 121 votes.
Miller had resigned from the board earlier this year after taking a position as an assistant football coach at Concordia High School. He had filed for re-election and his name was on the ballot.
Amber Lambertz was elected to fill the District 4, Position 7 at-large position on the board with 597 votes.
The at-large position was held by Pounds, who did not seek re-election.
Bryan Cleveland received 489 votes.
Running as a write-in candidate, Lindsay Metcalf was elected to the District 1, Position 1 seat on the board.
Bryan Bombardier did not seek re-election to the District 1, Position 1 seat and no candidates filed for the position.
The Cloud County review board met Wednesday morning and reported that Metcalf received 264 of the 382 write-in votes cast for the school board position.
