Elk State Bank ATM is broken into

Unknown thieves robbed the ATM at Elk State Bank.

On Tuesday morning at 4:30 a.m., Concordia police officers responded to an alarm call at the Elk State Bank on Lincoln Street. Upon arrival officers found that the ATM of the business had been broken into and a stolen pickup truck was left at the scene.

The Cloud County Sheriff's department assisted with a search of the area and evidence was recovered from multiple locations.

Acting-Police Chief Eric Voss said this is still an active investigation, and the police department is working closely with the KBI.
