Kearn files to run for commission

Dannie Kearn became the fifth candidate to file to run for a seat on the Concordia city commission in the November election.
There are two seats on the city commission up for election this year, those currently held by Ashley Hutchinson and Ragena Belden.
Hutchinson and Belden have filed for re-election.
Kearn joins former commissioner Christy Hasch and Gary Jeardoe Jr. in challenging the incumbents for the commission seats.
Those elected to the city commission serve for three years.
The deadline for filing for local office was Thursday.
