More snow, frigid air expected to move into the area

A second winter storm this week is expected to dump additional snow in North Central Kansas.
The forecast from the National Weather Service Office in Topeka calls for a 70 percent chance of snow on Thursday night.
Meteorologist John Woynick said that the Concordia area could receive 3-5 inches of snow.
The snow is expected to begin Thursday evening and continue into Friday morning.
Frigid temperatures are also forecast for the area.
The forecast is calling for a low of 6 degrees on Thursday night with a north wind of 20-25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.
A high of 13 degrees is forecast for Friday with a low of -1.
The predicted high on Saturday is 13 with a low of -8.
The forecast calls for a high of 2 on Sunday with a low of -8, and then the high on Monday is 7.
Concordia received 5.3 inches of snow on Wednesday.
With rain falling before it turning to snow Wednesday morning, nearly an inch of precipitation was recorded.
