November is Match Month for CFCC

November is Match Month, and the Community Foundation for Cloud County (CFCC) will get things started with a kickoff event from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursday at the Cloud County Coop Distribution Center meeting room on East Sixth Street.
The kickoff event provides an opportunity to drop off a donation and enjoy some snacks.
Match Month will have an even greater impact this year with the Dane G. Hansen Foundation and the Patterson Family Foundation providing matching funds for donations made.
CFCC is once again the recipient of the Dane G. Hansen 50K Initiative Matching Grant.
During the month of November, donations made to the Impact Fund will be matched at 200 percent, up to $50,000.
CFCC has also received a 100 percent matching grant, up to $50,000, from the Patterson Family Foundation.
Using both of the matching grants, donations to the Impact Fund will be matched at 300 percent, so a donation of $100 becomes $400.
The Patterson Family Foundation is enabling the CFCC to offer an additional matching opportunity. Donations made to eligible funds at CFCC, up to $20,000, will be matched at 100 percent during the month. If overall donations exceed $20,000, then donations will be matched proportionally.
