Organizations receive grants from CFCC

The Community Foundation for Cloud County recently awarded grants to five area organizations.
Grants awarded were funded through the community foundation's Dane G. Hansen Community Grant Fund and the Youth Activity Fund.
The following organizations received funding for charitable projects to benefit Cloud County:
Brown Grand Opera House, Inc. - $3,800 to fund a children's play/musical summer program at Missoula Children's Theater.
National Orphan Train Complex, Inc. - $2,700 for funding to support the Annual Celebration of Orphan Train Riders in Concordia on June 3rd, 4th, and 5th.
City of Jamestown - $2,000 to support the Jamestown community yearly firework display and BBQ on the Fourth of July.
Cloud County Fair Association - $1,500 to help the Cloud County Fair Board install scales to be used by the racetrack and for the antique tractor pull events.
Smoky Hills Public Television -  $1,500 to provide books to children enrolled in Early Head Start and Head Start, as well as purchase broadcast rights to children's educational television programs.
