Owen files for school board seat

Nancy Owen has filed to run for the District 2, Position 5 seat on the Concordia Unified School District 333 board of education in the 2021 election.
Owen was selected by the board of education to fill the seat vacated by Tim Beims. She was sworn in on May 10.
There are three seats on the board of education up for election this year including the District 1, Position 4 seat held by John Culley and the District 3, Position 6 seat held by Mary Beth Smith.
Amber Lambertz and Brad Berk have filed to run for the District 3, Position 6 seat.
The deadline for filing for the election is June 1 at noon.
If a primary election is needed it will be on August 3. The general election is scheduled for November 2.
