Police Dept. Report
Correction—In reference to an incident reported in the police department news release on 10/01/21, it was reported that Cameron Ward, Salina, was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of heroin, and possession of drug paraphernalia. This information was incorrect. While Ward was present in the vehicle during the traffic stop and was arrested, he was actually arrested for a Cloud County warrant for theft.
Accident—At approximately 5:05 p.m. Sunday, October 3, officers responded to the 1300 block of Lincoln Street for an accident. Vehicles driven by Gavin Christy-Clough, Scandia, and Emma Engle, Lebo, collided at that location, causing over $1,000 in damage.
Hit-and-run—At approximately 3:41 p.m. Friday, October 1, officers responded to the intersection of Campus Drive and Republican for a hit-and-run. An unknown vehicle struck and damaged a stop sign at that location. This incident is still under investigation.

Accidents—At approximately 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 28, a deputy took a report of a non-injury accident located in the 1300 section of Deer Road.
At approximately 8:04 p.m. Tuesday, September 28, a deputy took a report of a non-injury accident located in the 1000 section of Shell Road.
At approximately 7:10 a.m. Friday, October 1, a deputy took a report of a non-injury accident at Iron Road and 140th Road.
At approximately 9:53 p.m. Saturday, October 2, a deputy took a report of a non-injury accident in Glasco.
At approximately 9:58 a.m. Sunday, October 3, a deputy took a report of a non-injury accident in the 1700 section of 170th Road.
Animal Cruelty—At approximately 10:13 a.m. Wednesday, September 29, a deputy took a report of cruelty to animals in Glasco. The case is being investigated.
Stolen vehicle—At approximately 1:55 a.m. Saturday, October 2, a deputy was at the 19th and Lincoln Short Stop in Concordia and found a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was processed and towed. The case is still being investigated.
Criminal Trespass—At approximately 8:23 Sunday, October 3, a deputy took a report of criminal trespass in Glasco. The case is still pending.
