Police Dept. Report
Accidents – At 6:15 p.m. Tuesday, officers investigated an accident in the 2200 block of Campus Drive involving a vehicle driven by Ludjenie Mondesir, Concordia, and a vehicle owned by Terry Deweese, Saint George.
At 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, officers investigated an accident at 11th and Republican involving a motorcycle ridden by Michael Kling, Concordia.

Sheriff's Office Report
Arrests – At about 10:30 p.m. August 16, Cloud County Sheriff's Office deputy stopped a 2006 Kawasaki motorcycle for a traffic violation in the 1300 section of U.S. Highway 24. During the stop, an investigation led to the arrest of David Sporleder, 35, Salina. Sporleder was charged with driving under the influence, driving while suspended and no proof of insurance. He was transported to the Cloud County Law Enforcement Center.
At about 2:45 a.m. August 18, a Cloud County Sheriff's Office deputy made contact with an individual in the 400 block of Washington Street in Concordia. Deputies arrested Jason Carter, Concordia, on a Cloud County District Court warrant for domestic criminal damage to property. Carter was transported to the Cloud County Law Enforcement Center.
At about 2:40 a.m. Monday, a Cloud County Sheriff's Office deputy responded to a driving complaint in the 1400 section of U.S. Highway 81. Deputies located the vehicle, and following an investigation arrested Tristan Sholty, 22, Superior, Neb. Sholty was charged with driving under the influence and interference with a law enforcement officer and transported to the Cloud County Law Enforcement Center.
Accidents – At about 5:30 p.m. Monday, the Cloud County Sheriff's Office responded to a one-vehicle injury accident in the 1000 section of U.S. Highway 81. A 2015 Freightliner pulling a dry van trailer being driven by Richard Meyer, House Springs, Mo., was traveling southbound when it drifted onto the west shoulder and then into the ditch. The semi overturned onto its side striking signs owned by the Kansas Department of Transportation before coming to rest in the west ditch. Concordia EMS responded to the scene. Meyer was not transported.
At about 9:35 p.m. August 16, the Cloud County Sheriff's Office responded to a one-vehicle, non-injury accident in the 1200 section of North 105th Road. A 2015 GMC SUV driven by Mary Tholstrup, Concordia, was traveling southbound when it struck a deer.
At about 10 p.m. Sunday, the Cloud County Sheriff's Office responded to a one-vehicle, non-injury accident in the 2500 section of K-9 Highway. A 2015 Ford passenger car driven by Josie Marks, Clyde, was traveling eastbound when it struck a deer.

Fire Dept./EMS Report
At 5:31 p.m. Tuesday, Medic 4 responded to 904 Russ Street and transported a patient to Cloud County Health Center.
At 8:42 p.m. Tuesday, Medic 4 and Rescue 1 responded to a motor vehicle accident at 11th and Republican and transported a patient to Cloud County Health Center.
