Sheriff's Dept. Report
Arrests—At approximately 6:35 p.m. July 23, the Cloud County Sheriff's Office responded to a trespassing report in the 600 block of Cedar Street in Jamestown. An investigation led to the arrest of Damian Zerr, 26, of Jamestown. Zerr was charged with burglary and transported to the Cloud County Law Enforcement Center.
At approximately 5:10 p.m. August 3, the Cloud County Sheriff's Office was investigating a possible child sex crime. Deputies located a vehicle in the 2700 section of Teal Road. While making contact with the occupants, deputies arrested Lonnie Craig, 61, of Munden. Craig was transported to the Cloud County Law Enforcement Center where he was charged with aggravated incest and stalking.
Accidents—At approximately 1:05 p.m. July 29, the Cloud County Sheriff's Office responded to a one-vehicle, non-injury accident in the 1500 section of Union Road. A 2012 Chevy SUV being driven by a juvenile female from Concordia was traveling eastbound when the vehicle struck a deer.
At approximately 7:00 p.m. July 31, the Cloud County Sheriff's Office responded to a one-vehicle, injury accident in the 1100 section of US 24 Highway. A 2009 Ford passenger car driven by Marissa Griggs, Concordia, was traveling eastbound when Griggs lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle entered the north ditch where it struck an embankment. Griggs was transported by Miltonvale EMS to Cloud County Health Center to be treated for injuries sustained during the accident.
At approximately 6:00 a.m. August 3, the Cloud County Sheriff's Office responded to a one-vehicle, non-injury accident in the 400 section of US 24 Highway. A 2006 Toyota pickup being driven by Robert Hopkins, Salina, was traveling westbound when the vehicle struck a deer.
Fire Dept./EMS Report
At approximately 3:42 p.m. August 5, Medic-4 responded to the 300 block of West 13th Street and transported one patient to Cloud County Health Center.
At approximately 7:10 p.m. August 7, Medic-4 responded to the 300 block of West 13th Street. An 85-year-old female was evaluated but not transported by ambulance.
