Police Dept. Report
Accidents—At approximately 12:10 p.m. Saturday, September 11, officers investigated a two-vehicle accident in the 100 block of East College Drive involving vehicles driven by Jessica Gilbert, Jamestown, and Kaleb Talkington, Belleville.
Hit-and-Run—At approximately 8:45 p.m. Sunday, September 12, officers investigated a hit-and-run accident in the 100 block of East College Drive in which an unknown vehicle struck a parked motorcycle owned by Kenneth Whelchel, Jewell. Investigation continues.
Theft—At approximately 3:25 a.m. Friday, September 10, officers received a report of theft from the Short Stop in the 1000 block of Lincoln. Investigation continues.
Arrests—At approximately 6:40 a.m. Saturday, September 11, officers responded to a disturbance call in the 1100 block of Highland Drive. Officers arrested Richard Griffin, 44, Salina, for interference with a law enforcement officer. Griffin was transported to the Cloud County Law Enforcement Center.
At approximately 9:40 p.m. Sunday, September 12, officers arrested Dustin Reavis, 40, Salina, in the 100 block of East College Drive on a Harvey County District Court warrant for theft. Reavis was transported to the Cloud County Law Enforcement Center.
