Police Dept. Report
Criminal Damage—At approximately 7:58 p.m. Friday, September 24, officers responded to the 800 block of Matthew Street for criminal damage to property. Jacqueline Kearn, Concordia, reported damage to property at that location with under $1,000 in loss. This incident is under investigation.
Arrests—At approximately 8:06 p.m. Saturday, September 25, officers responded to a disturbance call in the 1900 block of Lincoln Street. Further investigation led to the arrest of Taylor Gropp, Concordia, on charges of DUI, interference with a law enforcement officer and minor in possession. Gropp was transported to the Cloud County Law Enforcement Center.
At approximately 1:55 a.m. Sunday, September 26, officers conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of Kansas Street. Further investigation led to the arrest of Danae Gennette, charging her with DUI. Gennette was transported to the Cloud County Law Enforcement Center.
Accidents—At approximately 9:26 p.m. Friday, September 24, officers responded to Wal-Mart for an accident. Vehicles driven by Bret Trecek and Harleigh Smith, both of Concordia, collided at that location, causing over $1,000 in damage.
At approximately 2:20 a.m. Monday, September 27, officers responded to an accident in the 200 block of West 10th Street. A vehicle driven by David Brown, Concordia, struck a legally-parked, unattended vehicle owned by Murray Widen, Concordia, causing over $1,000 in damage.
