Santa to visit during Hometown Holidays

Santa Claus will make an appearance and prizes will be awarded during a snowball drop during Hometown Holidays in downtown Concordia on Friday.
Hometown Holidays is sponsored by Business in Motion, a Concordia Chamber of Commerce committee.
Santa Claus will arrive at the Broadway Plaza at 4:45 p.m. and light the Christmas tree.
The snowball drop is scheduled for 5 p.m. at Broadway Plaza.
Those participating in the snowball drop will have an opportunity to grab a snowball tossed out of Santa's bag and win a prize.
There will be over 125 prizes available that include gift baskets, coupons, gift cards and Chamber Bucks.
The snowballs are numbered to correspond to the prizes. They should be returned to the Business in Motion table at Broadway Plaza following the drop.
Participants have one week to claim the prizes from the businesses.
Following the snowball drop there will be several activities beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Participating businesses will be offering discounts and great gift ideas.
Children can visit Santa Claus and get a personalized ornament at Downtown Girls, 120 West Sixth St.
The other activities being offered include:
Britt's Fountain & Gifts -  Make reindeer food; Chamber of Commerce - Carriage rides at Broadway Plaza; Moody Hue Studio - Ornament painting kits; Panther Pride Pharmacy – Essential oil diffuser ornaments.
