Two sections of railroad bridge roll through town

Two massive sections of a railroad bridge were towed through Concordia on Tuesday afternoon.
"We're on our way to Houston (Texas)," said Matt Casiano, one of the crew members guiding the long-hauler on the trip.
A single section of the bridge on one truck weighs 256,000 pounds. It was removed from a rail yard in Kansas City. The bridge section and the semi-truck used to haul it, combined, were over one block long and almost forty feet high.
Casiano said it will take about a week to complete the trip, and they travel back roads whenever possible.
"It's not just heavy, it's really tall," Casiano said. "That causes a lot of problems for just about any town or city we have to pass through."
