USD 333 board approves pay hike for administrators

The Concordia Unified School District 333 board of education, during a special meeting on Thursday, approved a salary increase of four percent for the district administrators.
With five of the seven members present for the meeting, the board voted 4-1 for the salary increase.
Board president Bryan Bombardier voted against the increase in pay.
The vote on the salary increase came after the board met in executive session, for 10 minutes, for the purpose of discussing non-elected personnel.
During its regular June meeting, the board of education approved the negotiated agreement for the 2021-2022 school year that included a four percent pay increase for teachers.
The board also approved a four percent pay raise for all classified staff.
In other action taken during the meeting, the board approved a soft close out for the fiscal year 2021.
