On Tuesday, March 10th, 15 students and two instructors from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York, used their spring break to take a trip to Concordia.
Vassar College was involved with raising funds for the Children's Aid Society in the early days of its existence in New York.
While here, the Vassar students and instructors visited the Orphan Train Complex, the Cloud County Tourism office, and the Meridian Way Wind Farm. After spending the night in Concordia, they were also scheduled to visit the Pawnee Indian Village, the Sternberg Museum of Natural History in Hays, and then travel into Nebraska to see the Sandhill Cranes before flying back to New York.
